Course Selection Information for Students Entering Year 9

You will study a total of ten courses. All students must take the Social Science course: Exploring Aotearoa. In addition to this you must select:

• One English courses - this will be a full-year course with the same teacher. 

• One Mathematics course - this will be a full-year course with the same teacher.

• Two Science courses.

• One Health and Physical Education course.

• Any four courses from the following learning areas:
  • Social Studies, PE & Health, Technology, The Arts, Languages, Agriculture, Commerce.

• Five back up courses in case courses are unavailable.
