Course Selection Information for Students Entering Year 9

You will study a total of twelve courses (six courses per half-year semester). All students must take the Social Science course: Exploring Aotearoa. In addition to this you must select:

• Two English courses (please choose a Semester 1 course and a Semester 2 course).

• Two Mathematics courses (please choose a course that ends in a 1 and a course that ends with a 2).

• One course in each of Health and Physical Education, Science, and Technology.

• One course in EITHER Learning Languages or The Arts.

• Three additional courses from any Learning Area, including Agriculture and Commerce and Social Sciences

• Four back up courses in case courses are unavailable.
