NCEA Level 3 Mathematics
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr M. van Woerkom.
A full year course comprising five (5) Level 3 NCEA Achievement Standards, 4 internal and 1 external, all within the National Curriculum Framework. The course only offers 16 credits and has a softer algebra requirement. Students cannot take 13MAT in conjunction with 13MTS or 13MTC.
Recommended Prior Learning
It is recommended that you have studied a Year 12 maths course.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
a scientific calculator is recommended but a graphical calculator will offer an advantage

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
