Course Description

Will you be the 2024 WaiCol MasterChef champion?
Towards the end of the semester, you will be given a 'mystery box' of ingredients to demonstrate your MasterChef skills!
In this course you will create a range of meals and desserts from a selection of ingredients through the concept of ‘MasterChef’. You will become ‘Food Detectives’, by analysing, grilling, baking, slicing and tasting your way to a healthier lifestyle that will improve your well-being.
This programme aims to develop practical cookery skills, food hygiene and safety, and easy to prepare meals and snacks in a MasterChef environment.
