French Encore Plus 3
Semester 2
This course has a strong focus towards NCEA Level 1 French. To participate in this course, you should have done the Encore! course.
You will keep developing your ability and confidence in your interactions with others through authentic activities, such as tasks where each person has a part of the information and works together as a team to complete it.
You will increase your knowledge of grammar and be able to use a future and past tense.
You will look at topics such as clothes, places around town, shopping, houses, how to describe a holiday and so on. You will do some research on Paris and learn some more about aspects of French culture.
You can apply for the biennial trip to Tahiti from this course (dependent on safe travel conditions and College events).
Recommended Prior Learning
You should have done the Encore! course although, if you have a background in French, you may be able to do this. You should discuss this with the HOD Languages.
